All Hallows by All Hallows
I have been wanting a Finfolk All Hallows Eve mermaid tail for ever (well since last year when they released this limited edition tail and I was completely povvo and couldn't afford to buy it). A local Perth mermaid, the awesome Kirstie Godfrey, recently decided she didn't love the colours and agreed to sell me her brand new, tags still attached, size small AHE.

Note the size small.
So I used to be a size small. Hell I used to be a size XS...but not so much in the last 6 to 7 years.
But I REALLY love this tail and if anything can inspire me to lose the chub it is this beautiful piece of whimsy.. So I have set myself a goal of being able to fit comfortably into her by Halloween (this year you cheater).
Fully stretched at the waist, this tail is only just 62 cm. According to the Finfolk size chart for this tail an S is supposed to be 71.12cm at the waist. An XS is meant to be 66cm.
Finfolk, despite making beautiful tails, are a teensy bit notorious for having a rather ad hoc approach to sizing. Nevertheless this model of tail is as rare as rocking horse excrement and I am determined to fit my butt into it by said date because I doubt I will ever obtain another.
So -
My current weight is 67 kilos
Waist: 91cm
Butt/Hips: 99cm
Calves: 56cm
Ankles: 35cm
The Tail as measured:
Waist: 62 cm
Butt/Hips: 86 cm
Calves: 44 Cm
Ankles: 40cm
So apparently my ankles are fine!
That means I need to lose approximately:
Waist: 29cm
Butt/Hips: 13cm
Calves: 12 cm
I have tried the tail on and the ankles and calves are actually pretty good. It's that ridiculously tiny waist that is the main problem. Aint no way, no how that is gittin over my booty.
So tomorrow I will post my plan on how I am going to be wearing the All Hallows for All Hallows..
